Returning broken sticks

So I recently just bought a 20K (brand new) stick off my friend and the blade cracked within 3 skates. I have no receipt, but I work at a sport apparel/memorabilia shop. Is it possible to make a receipt from my store and make it look like it was purchased from my store and send my stick back to RBK?

...And people wonder why the price of retail sticks is so high...

but after having both retail and pro stock OPS sticks break on me, I switched to pro stock 2-pieces... have held up great ever since.
