And dont the get me wrong I do feel a little bad because they lost their money but you have to see how obvious the scam was and or never send as a gift.

The thread is on Proclaimed on Facebook but it’s. Pretty tough read for anyone to believe. The pictures were very clearly all stolen and not even the descriptions on some of the pictures lined up. The guy for sure picked the right targets I guess, only someone clouded in the thoughts of how much they were gonna make flipping could’ve bit on that
I read the thread too and now that I think about it, it was funny how quickly they all said "I'll take them" when the heard the prince. Not even a quick "are these hot" check.

How stupid do you have to be to not notice the backgrounds on the gloves are all different and those pics are clearly lifted right from the Pat thread on here, holy shit lmao, and 50$ a pair!? All they could see was the resell value on them, didnt think it through i guess

A few months ago, he tried to sell me a Team USA bag. Nothing out of the ordinary, no ridiculously cheap price. I had dealt with him multiple times in the past with no issues; however since getting scammed by PucksForAll, I sent the payment as goods/services to be safe. He told me his grandpa died and he was out of town for the funeral, so I gave him a few weeks. He then kept making excuses about how his "connection" from USA Hockey got fired, then got arrested, then took a trip to Africa, etc. After a month or so, I was able to get my money back immediately via PP.
Now a few months later, he's pulling the same "grandpa's death" excuse (among many others) on PHEW. Just a little clarification on what is going on.
"What is your lowest/best price?" is NOT an offer.

The guy’s name is Wade Carpenter (Sheck1021 on here), he sent me a text message with the pics of the gloves, as he frequently has purchased from me in the past I entertained the offer.Yep, him and 2 other guys were the only ones in the world to not see the scam. I mean the palms alone are worth more than what he was selling them for.
While it was a ridiculous price, the guy often buys stuff and dumps it a few weeks later so I assumed he just needed to move the gloves.
The pictures weren’t really a tip off to me because almost everyone asks Pat/Ken to send pictures of their gloves upon completion. I also haven’t been to the CPR thread because unfortunately life has just been too hectic lately.
He got Thom at StickFix and Fanelli as well.
