Glove Color Bleed Problem

I have a problem with my gloves.
I own a pair of pre-Vaughn Eagle X70's that are red w/ white cuff.
The issue that I'm running into is that there is color "bleed" going on. The fingers and parts of the hand of the glove are becoming splotchy, as the red dye is somehow coming off the synthetic leather. The gloves are probably 5 years old, but in good shape considering.
I haven't even worn through the palm on the top hand yet, so it's not like I'm looking to replace what have been my favorite gloves. It would cost me $150+ to get something comparable today I would imagine.
Just wondering if anyone knows of a solution to this issue? I tried calling Eagle, but they won't cover it since it was pre-Vaughn. I've heard about using inks and dyes, but not sure how or where to get what I need.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I'll post a couple pics when I get home from work. I had some on my phone but must have deleted them. :\

I'm really upset that Eagle won't warranty this issue. It's not a wear and tear thing. It's color bleeding.

WOW... I don't think there's anything you can do... My condolences...
Ha! Thanks.
There's gotta be some kind of way I can re-dye them or something.
Sucks because they're still great gloves.

My winter team is using the Islanders jerseys, so I wanted matching gloves... It'll be VERY easy to spray paint them back once I'm done... No worries here !

That doesn't look like color bleeding on them; it appears to be the surface flaking or wearing off of them?
Yeah, I had a person with good knowledge of these things tell me that it was definitely flaking. He said I'm not taking proper care of the gloves when storing them. Oh well. Time to buy some new mitts, I guess...
