I always found it strange that they make them tape over all the team logos. They're all pro, I don't think anyone is going to be trying to show anyone up by having their NHL team logo showing on their gear

BioSteel isnt a partner of the NHL, therefor they arent allowed to use their logos anywhere (including team logos).
Its a summer camp yes, but its also a marketing event for BioSteel.

With more marketing being done via Instagram each year, they've likely switched to the one minute videos to conform to the one minute limit on that platform. We had to cut down many of our promotional videos at work for the same reason. As long as popular apps focus on short attention span content, expect more of this in the future.
