Where do you cut your stick to

6'0
64" (stick comes to about my mouth)
P92/lie 6
I find it easier to guage other players stick length by those measurements.
I've been using this length for a while and feel its on the shorter end? Curious as to what others use/think.
Unbelievable that the slightest length cut or added takes forever to get used to.

always used a longer stick, once i went to college it gradually became shorter and shorter, ended up using the height that my kovalchuk sticks all came standard with and have been using that since. just below my chin on skates, almost up to my nose off skates. i can feel a difference if my sticks are a half inch longer it throws me off

Mines upto my upper lip on skates, used to be past me chin slightly. Length is all about preference and the lie of your blade I guess. My buddies who are new show me those vids on stick length, imo they're garbage. But even I can notice 1/2" difference in lengths like some of you.

The thing I don't get is if I keep my hands closer while take a shot like 6-8 from my top hand im really accurate. But if a shot naturally I close or high and wide from where I'm aming. Not sure it's from not rolling my wrist and being lazy, since my old height was primarily coming off the heel. Blows my mind maybe I need to move up from the int sticks but love the tight grip I get from them.

Right At the bottom of my chin, something I've been messing with for the past 2 months and I kinda dig it. I've cut almost 2-3 inches off my stick from where I used to be but did it gradually over a year. The one thing I notice is the puck marks when from being all on the heel to cover all over the blade, so just by that found the correct height for my w88 int. but according to wooeleven it still makes be shoot high and wide.

Your follow-through is probably different when your hands are closer. I bet it's your wrist not rolling over, like you said. Maybe it's your body position causing it. Might also be the type of shot you're taking.
Check out Kovy. Taking a wrist/snapshot here. He's more upright and his hands are closer together.
On this one, he's taking a slap shot and his lower hand is much further away. Naturally, he's leaning over the shot more.
