Selänne style helmet

Hello all members!

I found this awesome forum and I had to register. I'm Selänne collector from Finland and I'm looking for Selänne Jofa helmet. I only have jerseys so these are new to me. I used search button and found he uses jofa 390 - or 366?

Here's my take..

Jofa 366 helmets are just Jofa 390 with their ears stamped out. I'm pretty positive that the Jofa factory in Sweden just molded every helmet as a 390 then the ones they wanted to be a 366 they took over the plastic stamp and cut the ears out. The 366 I owe isn't perfect on both sides and it looks like it was done by hand.

So to the answer the question, I think Teemu used a 366 to start his career for a long time, but as he aged along with Jofa 366s, he had to start modifying. So he could be using 390s and just change the front bumper out. No one really knows but him.
